दुबई यानी जन्नत, जहां हर कोई जाना पसंद करता है। यहां इंसान की अपने आप जन्नत जैसा महसूस कराते हैं। यहां बहुत ही सख्त कानून हैं। सऊदी अरब दुनिया के सबसे सख्त कानूनों में से गिना जाता है। इसी कड़ी में हाल ही में यहां की पुलिस ने एक दर्जन लड़कियों को गिरफ्ता र किया है क्योंकि यह एक साथ बालकनी में खड़ी हुई थी।

सच बात यह है कि दुबई की एक इमारत के वीडियो बताया गया है कि कुछ महिलाएं पूरी तरह न ग्न होकर बालकनी में एक लाइन से खड़ी थीं। मामला सामने आने के बाद पुलिस ने सभी महिलाओं को और इससे जुड़े लोगों का गिरफ्ता र कर लिया है। दुबई के एक न्यूज पेपर ने इसे सिर्फ एक पब्लिसिटी स्टंट करार दिया है  लेकिन महिलाओँ का इस तरह से खड़ा रहने की वजह नहीं बताइ गई है।

Dubai police said they arre sted a “group of people who appeared in an indecent video” on charges of public debauchery.

Videos and photographs showing the n aked women, lined up on a balcony while being filmed in Dubai’s upscale Marina neighborhood, emerged on social media on Saturday evening.

State-linked newspaper The National reported it appeared to be a publicity stunt, without elaborating.

It came as a shock in the UAE where tamer behavior, like kissing in public or drinking alc ohol without a license, has landed people in jail.

Dubai police said those arr ested over the indecent video have been referred to public prosecutors.

“Such unacceptable behaviors do not reflect the values and ethics of Emirati society,” said police in a statement.

Those detained face up to six months in priso n and a fine of around £1,000 for viola ting public decency laws in the United Arab Emirates, which includes n udity and other lewd behaviour.
